Michael Ansara played Kang in Day Of The Dove, a role which he reprised (with 
the new style ridged makeup) in DS9: Blood Oath and VGR: Flashback.
Personally, I think that John Collicos (Kor in TOS: Errand Of Mercy, DS9: 
Blood Oath and DS9: The Sword Of Kahless), William Campbell (Koloth in TOS: 
The Trouble With Tribbles and DS9: Blood Oath) and Michael Pataki (TOS: The 
Trouble With Tribbles/DS9: Trials And Tribble-ations) were just as good as 
Ansara, while Tige Andrews (Kras in Friday's Child) was nowhere near as good.
