Greg, when I say that I simply mean that group of people with similar ideas
or values or religion or whatever. "Those people" in this case
meaning a number of different people or groups who have a symbol that has
become a symbol of hate outside of their realm. "Those people"
seems a little more to the point to me.  It could be quite a list and I
don't pretend to know all of the individuals or groups who have this in
common.

 I think the homogenizing thing is more of a ploy or a trap...seems
like it came about because of political considerations but I don't know for
sure. If we are talking about Catholics I might say "those
people" in reference to Catholics, not meant to be demeaning at all.
Yeah, I know others may take it to mean something else if they choose too.

I suppose I should be more careful, though, since it's a red flag to some.
Oops, did I just piss off some communists?
