Hey Nancy! > so things just aren't quite like they were in the original > message. Yeah. Well at least this isn't as lossey as others I've seen still in use. > No matter how the overlong URLs come through, I'm not going to > be able to just click on them anyway. I'd have to either > cut-and-paste or retype if I was going to go look at the site Exact same situation here. However I did download and compile Jasspa's MicroEmacs and noticed they have an internal ftp client that could come in useful for offlining to Janis' BBS. Definetly some potential there especially for pure text based offline packets. The choices for split screens looks really interesting. For the record I am using jasspa-mesrc-20091011 compiled on a pure 64 bit system, and with macros etc. it comes in at around 6M soaking wet. Not too shabby. Offhand without checking it seems to me vim is around +30M. I think I may have found a new editor but I'll have to play more before committing. Looks good. Thanks for the heads up. MK> What it had to say in the hit was enough methinks. > Yeah, I'd think so, too... :) Heh, heh. I doubt reading the article would have enhanced the mental image 'boob backlash' created.
