Hey Sean! Here is the output of my ftp client for that last run; /home/tothings/janis/out/bad27b00.pkt: 1.25 kB 3.40 kB/s /home/tothings/janis/out/bad30500.pkt: 606.00 B 2.10 kB/s /home/tothings/janis/out/bad4d700.pkt: 1.56 kB 3.67 kB/s /home/tothings/janis/out/bad5b700.pkt: 854.00 B 1.46 kB/s Is that better output? Even gives transfer rates for each one. That could be redirected to a logfile if wanted. It is also controlled by a bash script along with msged and friends. No mailer but ftp instead that is scripted out to replace the mailer. Works great, especially for points. My other point is off the main node here and is way faster then the above example but it only has a short distance over a ethernet cable (100Mb connection) rather then the entire continent with many hops and jumps in between so it wouldn't be a really fair comparison. Choices, choices. I like it. Life is good, Maurice --- Msged/LNX 6.2.0* Origin: The Pointy Stick Society XIX - All about symmetry ...
