As long as you use a 3rd party DNS server I've been having no problem with adelphia.
There DNS servers seem overloaded and often respond slowly or no response at all.

On occasion hot spots go down and you go without for a hour or so, no
biggy. Merrimac Valley goes down about once every other month for an hour
or two.
