When you say "I am not in the room with my computer....", I assume you
are out spending money. This is the same story as the husband and wife
using the same Checking Account. The one cure of keeping a paper
register is to get checks that have a carbonless copy. Another method
that I have started using is a "Bank Card." Though it may have the VISA
emblem on it, it is not a Credit Card. Every time I use it, I get a
receipt. Once a week, I'll take the time and put the information into
Quicken.
I may spend a total of about 10 minutes a month with Quicken. This is
such a small amount of time and I get so much out of the program which
makes it time well spent. I am sure you are using most of the automated
features of Quicken.
