the whole IDEA came from when some queen named mary was beheaded. Or 
something to that extent. Then someone took that idea, incorporated it into 
some early 1900s Street Folklore or something, then i think Steven King or 
whoever took that and made it into a movie called "Candyman". The Candyman 
was basically a dead black slave with a hook for his right hand. The very 
same guy who played a police officer in the movie Dawn of the Dead.
