I'm a fourth year education student at Sydney University. I've done some 
research in the area of gender issues in the classroom. I would like some 
further comments about single sex  impacting academic performance. From 
previous statistical data in Australian schools - boys performed better at a 
high school levels where schools were mixed gendered. Girls however tended to 
perform better academically in single sex schools. I'm eager to read some of 
your opinions on the matter particularly in comparison with other school 
environments.
