i forget which TP i started with but i remember TP3 and then i jumped to TP6
and got BP7 at some point...

i hear ya... i got into programming for various reasons... one was having to
code for my own hardware developments... then the hardware became more like a
toaster and i was not able to continue designing hardware as i had been
doing... programming, though, gave me a lot more control than i had been
having... if the machine didn't do what i wanted, i turned it off or rewrote
the code to make it do what i wanted... one way or another, i was in control...
then i found girls and the world exploded again...
