I am using a Novell 3.12-System with an EISA-Motherboard. Till now it
works fine. After an Upgrade with a new SCSI-Harddisk (4GByte) and
Memory from 16MB to 52MB the server doesn't allocate the Memory > 16MB
under Novell (command MEMORY). If I use REGISTER MEMORY 1000000 2400000
a get a system crash:
Nonmaskable Interrupt Processor Exception
Parity Error was generated by the system board
Running Process: Ininalising Process
then a hex dump and I can only switch off and an the server.

Also the SET command SET AUTO REGISTER MEMORY ABOVE 16
MEGABYTES = OFF in the file STARTUP.NCF doesn't help.

Did someone have an idea? Thanks in advance.

My Hardware:
EISA Motherboard PET48PM
ScsiPro SP-274 SCSI EISA-Controller (NCR 53C700-66 SCSI I/O prozessor)
2x 3COM Etherlink III EISA-Netzwerkadapter
AHA-1520 SCSI IDE-Controller
52 MB-Memory
3x SCSI-Harddisk (2x 1GByte, 1x 4GByte)
1x DAT HP Surestore

STARTUP.NCF
, set auto register memory above 16 megabytes = off
set reserved buffers below 16 meg = 200
