Hello all, new to netware. Learning on netware version 3.12. I have the
server installed and it seems to run just fine with one exception, I can't
log on. I'm using win95 and novell's client32 for the workstation. The
server is using an Etherlink 3C509B thru an RJ45 crossover cable. Server
reports card is working properly, I see no link light to check it though.
The client computer worked just fine before on a peer-peer network with
other win95 machine before I decided to try it with the novell server which
I have set up on another machine. Will the novell server work peer-peer with
a crossover cable or will I need to use a hub instead? Client computer does
not connect nor does it see the server. Any help appreciated, just starting
out to learn novell. Figured I'd try it on 2 computers first before I added
a hub and more machines.
