Hey mark!

Ah! Speaking for myself I am sure writing a c coded WeBeBashing would
definetly be plenty of exersize for the grey matter I find myself dealing with
today. Heck even bash scripting has become more than enough of a challenge
especially when throwing utf8 characters into the mix, which as the random
tagline shown below is evidence of success given it is a bash scripted thingy,
albiet calling up a coreutils app to assist the randomness part. However
bash's builtin echo command is what is doing the dirty work both for local
display as well as exportation to a ftn packed msg. The only cheat I have in
packed msg part are two perl oneliners to facillitate the binary crap required
for fidonet msg and pkt headers. :::shudder:::

I used to have both a purely bash as well as a gawk solution for the binary
parts but found that I needed perl for other reasons so I may as well use it
wherever it makes life simpler to deal with, such as fodonet garbage that gets
sent off to the twilight zone and not locally stored for any reason I can think
of. Can you?

Life is good,
Maurice
