I understand your feelings completely. The group I belong to her in the
Tampa-St Petersburg area are the same way. We pay a 25 dollar annual
membership which includes the BBS service.
I noticed that you are a Sysop. Are you able to keep your system running
all the time. Are you able to get the Quicken conference all the time. I
sometimes wonder if our service is getting the Quicken conference. A lot
of the days there will not be any messages and then there might be one
or two.
I have just switched over to Version 5 for Windows and am trying to
learn all the new features. They have changed around the area covering
Investments. I am teaching Quicken at the University of South Florida,
Seniornet Program and want to try and stay a few steps ahead of the
students.
Don't give up to soon. There is still going to be a few people who do
not want to spend the 20 bucks a month for the internet service.
