subject: More Wierd Coax

All right experts, here comes another one to overload your
brain cells. :) Picked up about 200'+ coil of coax at the local
flea mkt. It's the size of rg-58/9, has a clear outer jacket, appears
to be 95% or better silver(coat) braid, has a bnc conn. on each end, and
the last known use was as a delay line for a radar test system.
It has a paper label running the entire lenght of it marked as follows,
FEDERAL CABLE - R.E.C. - DIV. OF I.T.T. AN TYPE RG-55/U 005#### /FT
the #### being 4792 through 5021. Obviously that's the length marks, but
I can't find anything on it. The only cable/coax guide I have at present
is a Belden master catalog from '87-'88, and it jumps fron RG-6 to RG-58
with nothing inbetween. :( I'd *like* to use it for my 2mtr antenna run
but without any specs on it..............
Thanks for any help on this one.
