I have yet to have that simple question answered to me logically, politely,
step-by-step without someone bragging about the size of their Linux penis.

If the goalposts don't get moved after that, then we go back to the strawman 
game of "Its open source, add the feature yourself".

I think I'll use that line whenever I encounter a Linux guy who can't make a
piece of hardware work correctly as it does on Windows.
