Nev AT&F. will re-initialise the modem resetting to factory defaults. If you issue the commands ATI9 followed by AT&V you should be shown a modem profile that looks similar to those below:- NetComm M7F Series 4 V.32bis Modem Y7 v1.98A (C) NetComm 1992 B0 E1 L1 M1 T Q0 V1 W2 X5 &B2 &C1 &D2 &G0 &H0 &K3 &L0 &M0 &N1 &P1 &R0 &S1 &T5 &X0 \B3 \J0 \K5 \N3 \T10 \V1 \X0 #A0 #B0 #C0 #E0 #F0 #J1 #K0 #O0 #V1 %B1 %C0 %D5 %E1 %K0 %M0 %N0 %P0 %U1 %X0 S000:000 S002:043 S003:013 S004:010 S005:008 S006:004 S007:045 S008:004 S009:006 S010:018 S011:095 S012:050 S017:010 S018:000 S025:005 S026:000 S027:000 S033:003 S042:000 S043:015 S047:008 S066:010 S067:042 S069:060 Series 5 V.32bis Modem Y7DFS(A) v2.34 (C) NetComm (Aust) 1993 B0 E1 L1 M1 T Q0 V1 W2 X5 &B2 &C1 &D2 &G0 &H0 &K3 &L0 &M0 &N1 &P1 &R0 &S1 &T5 &X0 \B3 \J0 \K5 \N3 \T10 \V1 \X0 #A0 #B0 #C0 #E0 #F0 #J1 #K0 #O0 #V1 %B1 %C0 %D5 %E1 %F0 %H0 %K0 %M0 %N0 %P0 %U1 %X0 S000:000 S002:043 S003:013 S004:010 S005:008 S006:004 S007:045 S008:004 S009:006 S010:018 S011:095 S012:050 S017:010 S018:000 S025:005 S026:000 S033:003 S042:000 S043:015 S045:098 S047:008 S066:010 S067:042 S069:060 Change the entries that are different and save them using AT&W. For instance if your profile shows &B4 you issue the command AT&B2 to set it to &B2. When you have all settings as above issue the AT&W command to save the settings to ram. All you need to do then is set up ATZ as the init string to recall these settings. Regards ...
