No shit, Sherlock.  So tell me:  how do you know your copy of FORMAT
on your boot disk isn't infected?  Don't tell me you scan it - your
scanner mught be infected - and so on, ad nauseum.
Give it up and agree that formatting a disk because of a virus
infection is unnecessary.
