I am trying to get back to my roots of FidoNet.... and since I've moved to
Linux 100% many decades ago (one of the reasons I left Fido.)

Any way I don't seem to be getting crashmail to generate PKT's...

crashmail SETTINGS crashmail.prefs SCAN

Even though it says it is...

I don't have something setup right!

I have a NETMAIL area in MSG format /home/rec9140/fido/netmail

I am using GoldED+ LNX 1.1.15 from the DEBS at
http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/g/goldedplus/

This is on a Kubuntu 14.04 64b/AMD64 setup...crashmail and binkd both installed
via packages in apt-get

Any clues as to what *I* am doing wrong??? (Hint: I was an FD person with GIGO
and Fmail and Golded in the DOS days of 1:129/220 and my uucp links...and
hopefully can get to using JamNNTPD as well!
