Actually it sits under the bladder and the urethra passes through it. The plumbing from the testicles passes through it too. RC> It produces semen. Not all of it. The prostate furnishes the bulk of the fluid in semen. I used to have one, in 1995 it was surgically removed because it was cancerous. I was not quite 51 at the time of the surgery. If you're of that approximate age get thyself tested annually. By the time the cancer exhibits symptoms it has probably already metastasized. Mine was caught early and pretty much by accident. --- FleetStreet 1.19+* Origin: Bob's Boneyard, Emerson, Iowa (1:300/3) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 18/200 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 226/0 236/150 SEEN-BY: 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1418 266/1413 SEEN-BY: 280/1027 633/260 267 712/848 800/432 2222/700 2320/100 105 200 2905/0 @PATH: 300/3 14/5 140/1 261/38 633/260 267 |
