I've been following the threads about the supposed new SDL to come out for
the Courier , and how the unit has to be returned to USR to get the upgrade
.
It is my opinion that if this is the case , then the modem has been
mis-represented to me , and I therefore has recourse through the consumer
affairs system .
From the front of the box the unit came in " DSP Flash Rom Upgradable
: Download new software from our BBS directly to your computer for easy
upgrades " ,
If there is no luck on that front , then pay your $15 to the small claims
tribunal , at least you will get to meet USR in the flesh and see if they
actually exist . ;-)
