> Does anyone know where I could obtain a curses look-alike for dos? Yes. Mark Hessling's PDCURSES package does a pretty good job. It was evolved originally from PDCURSES 1.3 which is still around on BBS's but has been completely rewritten for MSDOS & OS/2 compatibility and is actually in the process of being ported back to UNIX (!! :-)). It supports both BSD and SYSV curses. > An ftp site would be great. While PDCURSES 2.0 was published on comp.sources.misc and is widely available at various sites (access archie if you need more info), I have version 2.1 here which - although officially in 'beta' - fixes numerous bugs and problems with the 2.0 release. Again, I've placed it on hold. Requestable as CURSES21.ZIP ~250K. cheers, david ---* Origin: Unique Computing Pty Ltd (3:632/348) SEEN-BY: 50/99 54/54 620/243 623/625 630 632/103 301 348 365 386 998 633/371 SEEN-BY: 634/384 635/210 502 503 541 544 636/100 670/206 711/409 430 807 808 SEEN-BY: 711/809 932 934 712/623 713/888 714/906 800/1 @PATH: 632/348 635/503 50/99 54/54 711/808 809 934 |
