 Now this indicates his lack of scientific credibility. If the
 great lakes are rising because of rebounding from being
 depressed by glaciers, and the rebound has been reported in the
 scientific media, then the surrounding land is also rebounding
 and that results in zero actual change in lake levels. If the
 lakes are rising faster than the surrounding land, an odd
 phenomena if so, then the actual depth of the lake will still
 measure the same.

 All that changes is the elevation above sea level, not the depth
 of the lake.

 Oh, Schmitt's degree is in geology, not climatology. Not even
