Ok.....  When using a mex program here, it bombs on the MEX initialization code.

Found the ddd apt package....  Currently installing the package.... 
Already had gdb loaded, and KPackage claims I've got a new enough version
of gdb installed.

Ok, installed....  Other than trying to open too large a window on my
screen, things seem fine.....
