WG> The good news is that MEX VM seems to be blowing up in WG> a little more sane manner under Sparc (and probably WG> intel) than it was on Alpha. This suggests that my WG> first guess (pointer -> int -> pointer) is still a WG> problem, but that there's another problem, too. Ok..... When using a mex program here, it bombs on the MEX initialization code. WG> As for debuggers, if you want a GUI then ddd is the way WG> to go. It's a wrapper for gdb (make sure you running WG> gdb 5+), and is quite powerful and easy to use. Thanks for the pointer! Found the ddd apt package.... Currently installing the package.... Already had gdb loaded, and KPackage claims I've got a new enough version of gdb installed. Ok, installed.... Other than trying to open too large a window on my screen, things seem fine..... Again, thanks! Take care..... Bob Jones, 1:343/41 --- Maximus/2 3.01* Origin: Top Hat 2 BBS (1:343/41) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 343/41 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
