I have noticed this problem!   Sometimes my 14.4 LC and v32bis models do not 
recognize the BUSY signal.   Maybe a ROM upgrade is supposed to fix that?

Hmmmm...  I am leaning towards USR these days.   I have just about enough 
experimentation and expense with 5 different Supras in 4 years.
