Hi Don,
I used to use a Gerrard SL95 with the Shure V15 Type II cartridge on it.
The Thorens with a Rabco straightline tone arm was going to be my next
investment at the time, but I heard the Rabco had tracking problems,
which even though the needle would always be exactly perpendicular to
the grooves, made it useless. The Thorens turntable has always been
highly rated, though.
