Tim, what OS are you loading this onto? NT3.51, NT4, 95, or 98?

I'd installed the latest Client32 v3.1 on my current PC which had a modem
in. On reboot it would load up the default Internet connection, and
continue to do so every so often after cancelling. Deciding the problem was
with my PC as it required a restart anyway, I formatted the HD and
reinstalled Win95 C. No more problems.

I've been around most of the PC's in the building now with the new Client32
and it went on fine until I came across another PC with a modem. Same
problem. On rebooting the PC it would automatically try and connect to the
internet.

Any Suggestions?

**For anybody who knows the solution to what is probably a simple problem
don't bother reading the rest of the document (just the e-mail address at
the end.**

What I've tried to do:

Remove the TCP/IP which was bound to the Network card.
Remove the TCP/IP which was bound to the Dial Up Adapter.
Change the Protocol Preferences to: Protocol Order = IPX (Where Protocol
order was IP). I've got to admit I'm not sure what this is for, but it is
set to IP on all PC's anyway.
Remove all network devices, services and protocols via Control Panel ->
Networks. On reinstalling Client32 it kept all old setting e.g. preferred
server, context etc. Is this the way to completely remove Client32?
Compared all settings for Novel Client with another PC and made sure
they were the same.
Complete restart on my PC (It needed it anyway). I do not want to take
this approach on the current PC with this problem. Plus I have another four
PC's with modems to install the Client software to. This did however
rectify the problem.

As you can probably tell I'm not a Novell Network administrator. Just the
guy who knew most abouts PC's when the server was installed in the Office.
So any advanced settings/help may have to be put in layman's terms.

Thanks for any help.
