Their last update was 7 months ago! I guess it's only important to update
definitions, and that's it.

The only other scanner I saw on archlinux was p3scan. You can give it a try
but I'm fairly certain clamav is the best if not one of the only scanners
for linux. 

However, since you know DB's false positive is a non-issue, why not just
put it in the ignore file? I'm sure you can wildcard the version number or
something.
