I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND IT WAS ONLY RESOLVED BY REPLACING MOTHERBOARD AND
NETCARD?????
ALSO I DOWNLOADED THE LATEST 3COM DRIVERS FOR THE CARD..........
YOU MAY WELL I WENT TO FAR BUT THE PC WAS STILL WITHIN THE YEAR
