I have not had a chance to try any of the above. Will do so this weekend. I
do have my own theory and if someone can answer the one thousand dollar
question we'll all know what the problem is. How to resolve it is another
matter:

The question:
Does Netware copy the command.com on the install disks or install directory
to the netware partition at install? If so, might the Netware partition have
a DOS 5.0 command.com while my new DOS partition on the upgraded HDD is at
6.22???

I have several command.com's on my DOS partition:
 1 in Root
 1 in DOS
 1 in SERVER.312
and several in my Netware.312 Install disks backup directory (one for each
disk in fact)?

I have copied them all to DOS 6.22 which is what I am running on my upgraded
HDD. But I installed the new server from backup install disk created from
the old HDD when it was running DOS 5.0?
