I have a VERY URGENT message for everyone concerned about the future
of our country.
  Any day This week,  President Bill Clinton will sign the United
Nations Convention Bill for "Rights of the Child".  It will then go
before the Senate for discussion and possible ratification.  If this
Bill Passes, it will supercede ANY U.S. law.  If you are curious as
to what is contained in this Bill, it basically strips away the rights
of parents to act as the parents that God wants them to be.  It takes
the rights of the parents and gives it to the children!
  This system is in effect in many European countries right now, and
as a result, there are 12 year-olds living on their own in apartments,
off welfare.  Also, if there is even a report of someone disciplining
their child in any way, their child will be taken away.  This
contradicts Proverbs 13:24,   "He who spares the rod hates his son,
but he who loves him is careful to discipline him."
Here are some good points concerning the importance of this:
1. It supercedes the Constitution of the United States, the most
   valuable document to our freedom!
2. No portion of American's family policy should ever be decided by
   the U.N. or ANY outside influence.
3. The government was founded to be "of the people, for the people,
   and by the people"  Clinton intended to sign the bill without
   our (the  people's) knlowledge, and it almost happened without
   us even having a clue!
4. God commanded us to have control over our children and the
   government is trying to take away our ability to follow
   God's ways.
  So, I implore to you, as a fellow brother in Christ, to speak up and
let your voices be heard.  Call or fax your senators IMMIDIATELY after
reading this, expressing your beliefs.  If they're Conservative, ask
them to strongly announce and publicly oppose this bill.  If they're
Liberal, let them know your beliefs.  And feel free to Call any other
senators!  Also call Bob Dole and Phil Gramm to back them up. (numbers
below)
  After calling all of them, write to them next week expressing the same
as above.  We want to FLOOD them with our voices so there will be NO way
for The People not to be heard.
You must do this Immidiately.  They might be voting on this by the
17th, but it still won't be too late for our voices to make a change.
  I have been neglecting the most important thing we can do, though
not intentionally.  We must get down on our knees, humble ourselves,
and PRAY for our country, as God tells us in IIChronicles 7:14.
