| subject: | Australian USR Courier x2 upgrades |
Hamish, at 19:12 on Feb 27 1997, you wrote to David Drummond ... . . .[chomp]. . . RB>>> Modems upgraded onsite at USRobotics Pty Ltd >> Well, that stuffs that. What do I use while my modem is in >> Melbourne. Didn't I post the registration form back??? HM> Hang on, wasn't this meant to be just a flash upgrade for HM> you mob? Can't see a good reason why only USR are qualified HM> to run a program to flash the modem. It is a Flash upgrade. The "return to USR" is either a money making scheme, or to stop one handing on the SDL to someone who hasn't paid. AAMOI I already have the US/Domestic X2 SDL on the BBS (USX2SDL.EXE 900k) - one needs a "key" to enable X2.
