My sister is definitely the do-it-yourself type. Her husband came
home one day and she'd laid down a concrete walk in the back
yard. (Morter molds of 'paving stones', not a full-blown
sidewalk, but still.)  The two of them built a two-tiered deck, a
carport, and a beautiful shelter for their hot tub all by
themselves, plus having done a heck of a lot to the interior of
the house (redoing the kitchen, refinishing the hardwood floors, 
adding a partition wall to the upstairs, etc.)

Personally, I thought all of you were nuts until I got my own
cordless drill to help Mom take down some cabinets. (Ar ar ar ar
