You wouldn't happen to have a sample of a polling read loop would
you?  I have something that **almost** works but gets stuck.  What I'm
trying, assuming port 2, is

                 lda #$01
.readLoop
                 bit $c038
                 beq .readLoop
                 lda $c03b
...

Also, on a similar note (i have now 2 hours of 65816 asm experience
under my belt), if I enable emulation mode that automatically sets the
accumulator and index registers to 8-bit right?
