Our Bike Patrols here in San Antonio ride on the downtown streets. I've
seen articles from them in the paper indicating that they can get around
much quicker on Bikes than in Patrol Cars or on foot. Not only that,
but they can get right up on someone trying to break in a car before they
even know they are around. Corroboration by any Police Officer on Bike
patrol, please. BTW, I think these officers are doing an outstanding
Job. Some of them do not have the "Legs" for their shorts .
