Well.
Remember how the ship's doctor was played by Tim Curry? And I
was at That Age, when _The Rocky Horror Picture Show_ was our
favorite entertainment. In fact, all 8 of us in my 'clique' went
every week. We also went to opening night of _Red October._

Picture it: A brand-new theater, packed to the bursting point
with excited folks, anxious to see the movie version of one of
the coolest thrillers ever written. A row near the middle of the
theater, filled with the 8 of us (boy-girl, boy-girl, of
course). We'd arrived almost as the last show ended, so we could
get seats together.

The movie started, and all was well until Tim Curry showed up
onscreen for the first time. When his face first appeared, all
four guys stood up and said, in full stage projection: "Oh,
ROCKY!!" a la Dr. Frankenfurter from _Rocky Horror_.

Half the members of the audience ROARED; the other half muttered,
irritated. Luckily, no ushers came to kick us out (I think we
knew all of them, anyway; our school was only a few blocks up the
road). We girls wouldn't talk to the guys all evening; we were
*so* embarrassed.

I dunno; I don't trust them. They do some pretty weird stuff.

Heh... my sis & bro-in-law have asked for Lowe's gift certs. for
their birthdays (next Sunday and Monday, respectively); mom & I
are going to go in together on a $100 gift card.

True; but it's fun to see him as The Metatron back-to-back with
him as Colonel Brandon.

I don't; I don't care for the unfinished-look. I want Something
done to it.

Me too, usually.... I still haven't really decided, in all
honesty.

Well, I didn't have a basement...
