Hi folks,

Having a strange little problem with, actually two, but I degress.

The real oddball is that after updating TCPIP.nlm to v4.016 IP no
longer binds to the NIC via auotexec.ncf. The driver reloads OK, but
I end up having to bind manually. The box is a Dell XE-166 with a
3Com PCI NIC. (Disclaimer: I didn't choose the box and I don't know
why they don't use the onboard Intel NIC.) It's not a killer, but it
is irritating right now as I'm TSing hardware abends on two of these
boxes.

The other question has to do with a problem with loading DHCP. This
went flawlessly on an Intranetware box, but is givng me problems on
the 3.12 boxes. It installs fine, no errors shown, but when I attempt
to load the dhcpsrvr or dchpcfg it fails to auotload dhcpio. It's
giving me:

Loader cannot find public symbol LoadLanguageMessageTable
Load file referenced undefined public variable.

The box is patched up with 312ptd and Config Reader offers no
suggestions for any needed updates

I'd appreciate any input.

Thanks!

Jim Huddle, CNE CBS
