It's not like I can set an NT server to backup a half dozen machines or
auto-change wallpaper without powerful command shells and hours of
scripting..

I know an even more powerful scripting language, it's capable of doing
absolutely anything the computer is capable of doing and you can write much
longer scripts with it and talk about FAST. And best of all (you are really
going to like this part) all the commands are real short, usually just 3
letters. They used to call it assembler but not many people use it anymore.
