I was able to obtain a materials fact sheet from Corning
Glass Works several months ago regarding the physical properties of Pyrex
7740. The only reference to reactivity with chemicals is the acid
durability rating,
which indicates that Pyrex will have a thickness loss of less than 0.000001
inch in 5% hydrochloric acid at 95 degrees C for a 24 hour period. How
this would compare
to ammonia I don't really know, but Corning might be able to provide
additional information. FYI.
