DH> I love Maximus BBS, but I am having trouble securing a stable DH> telnet connection into the board. What I mean is..I cannot DH> use Netmodem, Netmodem refused to dance with the Windows XP DH> operating system. COMPIP worked, was able to log in via DH> telent connect, etc. I ran Maximus in a WFC bat file, with DH> the simple command line.....max -w -p5 -s38400. But after DH> each log off, I had to close the windows, and restart the Bat DH> file. My telnet client could establish a connection until DH> this was done. i.e, the only way make Maximus "stay up" after DH> each call, was to keep closing the window, and restartin the DH> bat file. DH> Any suggestions....I all ears you don't have a loop in that .bat file? ie: rem this is the bat file cd\maximus :loop max -w -p5 -s38400 if errorlevel whatever goto end goto loop :end something like that? the errorlevel line definitely needs modification and possibly additional ones... in any case, its a very simple example... don't the docs have a sample in them? )\/(ark* Origin: (1:3634/12) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 3634/12 106/2000 633/267 |
