I think the zealotry/bigotry factor is a wash between any two OS groups,
with no one camp being much different than any other.

That's not to say that rude and infantile responses to requests for help by
newbies is not a problem, though.  It is something they have harped on for
years at the various linux help channels at places like
irc.openprojects.net.
