Joe A friend of mine in high school drove a '77 vette with an L82 V8, and typically got beaten off the mark by friends with beater Dusters and 'Cudas with 340s. After a couple of years, my friend went to a new mechanic to get a tune-up, new spark plug wires, air filter, etc. The mechanic called him to take a look at something -- he pulled out 6 NGK plugs that were nicely glazed and 2 AC Delco plugs from the back 2 cylinders that were burned to a crisp. Turns out the last guy never bothered replacing the back 2 plugs... --- SBBSecho 2.26-Win32* Origin: http://realitycheckbbs.org | tomorrow's retro tech (1:218/700) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 280 640/384 712/0 620 848 @PATH: 218/700 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
