| subject: | Hpt and new 64bit compile |
Hey Gert! Jun 25 11:30 06, Gert Koefoed Andersen wrote to Maurice Kinal: GKA> Is just how to do a compile of 32-bit on the computer as the GKA> commmand and libs to do it. Right. You'll need two sets of libs though and be able to link to the right ones given the target. For x86_64 based multilib gcc it is as simple as flagging CC="gcc -m32" and for 64-bit CC="gcc -m64" and to configure --libdir=/lib64 or /usr/lib64 depending on where you want your 64-bit libs to end up. In the case of Husky it'll have to be the CC="gcc -m32" and I put the libs under a special user under /home/fido so that they don't end up as part of the system. Same with the apps. I am thinking about making it a chroot jailed system not unlike some ftpd applications (eg vsftpd). GKA> I still getting segmention fault and some msgapier -3 from hpt GKA> linux. I haven't seen that problem. Which version are you using? Life is good, Maurice --- Msged/LNX 6.2.0* Origin: The Pointy Stick Society XVII - When I was ...
