Actually, after a 45 minute call to MS, the problem WAS NT.  And... I guess 
you missed the part above about two layers of tape backup not working... I'm 
not sure how many backups you have of your system, but double redundancy sure 
seemed reasonable... too bad NT's tape resources didn't agree...
As for the training... that's what this was!  wouldn't you agree?
