Can you post a link to nomarch? arc521e is the only SEA archiver for UNIX I
am aware of.
 
FWIW, I don't think mine does that, but I never looked, either. Sounds like
a horrible bug that should be fixed!
 
At the very least, grep the code for utime or utimes calls and commonet
them out; that would force the files to be dated "now".
