The AVAST FREE Anti-Virus is is fairlly highly but you need a
Firewall with it. It is a good Idea to use the FREE Malwarebytes
anti-malware program with it.
Zone Alarm also has a highly FREE combination Firewall/Anti-Virus
program. The minor down side is they have a few pop up ads but for the
Price it is tollerable.

And thewy sure beat the useless Microsoft crap in effectiveness.
