Its now Jan/8. Did you solve this yet?  If not, I have to re-read this a
few times to see what you are doing and what exactly you are looking to
do. If  you are basically trying to see if people have downloaded their 
file(s), you can print out the download count.    0 means it wasn't
downloaded, 1+ means it was downloaded. 

One thing I would like to point out is that presently there is no
"internal" recognition of a "User File Area".  i.e, "User X has File Area
Y".  This is can be done with wcBASIC programming, but in general, this
is typically done using the access system, so that in the final analysis,
by using security access, the user is limited to 1 file area.  

What we have recommended to customers who have a need to have 1 to 1
user/file area assignments, is to "label" (name) the security
access and file area with the user name. (Or something similar to
this).  

The idea is for reporting and easy administrative viewing.  So when you
do a report to list the file areas that have file downloads greater 0,
then in the report you will see the file area names as user names. Just
basically a tip.

with.
