You know what? I'll bet that the cases where the extra extention is getting
applied is due to an incorrect case-sensitive comparison. I had to make a
*lot* case-sensitivity changes in the code (as scott likes pretty
filenames), it's extremely improbable that I didn't miss a few spots.
