Well, it should've come from you when you told Quicken what the bank
ending balance was before beginning the reconciliation.  It gets the
opening balance from the last ending balance, but you have to enter
the new ending balance.
 RS> Quicken entered a "Opening Balance Adjustment" in the register.
It may be that you accidentally changed the opening balance when you
began reconciling or that a data file got corrupted.
 RS> Where do I find the error?
Have you tried deleting the adjusting entry and starting over with
the reconciliation process?
