Hi, All!
I've been reading your talks about squirrels.
Today we saw again one in our garden, last Fall and Winter there were several 
having a look in our garden.  They are mostly looking for nuts, haselnuts 
when they are good and old walnuts that we trow into the garden for the 
irds.
Till now they were not digging in the garden.
Now I've a question : are the squirrels you are all talking about the ones 
which live in a forest area or is  it a squirrel that lives mostly in holes 
in the sandy ground?

    I think they are referring to the bushy tailed tree rat variety.
