Thats cool. only is there a *.msg renumbering tool such as
170renum.exe? If I had to switch to *.msg bases I would really need
such a tool. I don't rember if squish had such an option for *.msg
format.

I would love to. I am all set for that now. I just have to
remove my Synchronet 3.10k "Hack" that uses agetty via runbbs.bat (I
run binkleyterm xe as the frontend). I also need to find a way to
promote my dialup service. Let me know when and where I can download
the patches or the new released "stable?" I got the maximus-unix
max-unix-3.03b.tar.gz , not the CVS release.

If thats similar to the the Synchronet Baja or their new
Javascript languages, you are right. I don't use them either.

When I got done compiling and firing the code at
maximus.sourceforge.net it was like a nice welcome to me. looked at
the *.ctl files and I remembered the fun I had with them under Opus.
Now if I rmember I used to compile them with nacl.exe under Msdos. I
believe maximus calls it something like silt.
We also had a decompiler called cayenne.exe to decompile a bbs.prm
file. Is there something similar in Maximus?

If only the Spammers didn't have to ruin it for the rest of
us. But if you do get the dialup working well in the Unix/Linux port
then as I said, I will be online via POTS (Plain Old Telephone
Service). I already have the second line which Binkleyterm manages.
